Technical speech at Hydro in Oslo on the subject of profile cooling

Today extrutec was invited to the headquarters of Norsk Hydro in Oslo. Our CEO Uwe Günter held a presentation with afterwords discussion about advanced profile cooling. Considering physical aspects like the Leidefrost effect profile cooling is one of the most difficult processes to control in the chain of extrusion.
New solutions like the patented Alpha Flex Technology from extrutec help to meet the constantly increasing requirements for extruded profiles.

Continuous training of the extrutec service technicians and supervisors

In addition to new installations, extrutec also offers a wide range of service and maintenance support. This includes the mandatory annual inspection of the gas equipment for our ovens at the customer side. All extrutec service technicians are regularly trained and certified for these assignments.

It is also possible to convert extrutec gas ovens from operation with natural gas to operation with LPG (Liquified Petroleum Gas). Against the background of the current gas shortage in Europe, this is an important aspect in order to be able to maintain production.

T. Stauch (Responsible for Service and Spare Parts): "It is important to us to be available for our customers around the clock. We see ourselves as partners and want to build a long-term relationship with our customers. Therefore, the good support in the area of service is a decisive point for the long-term cooperation and an essential argument for the purchase of an extrutec equipment."
