Successful Participation at the HTWG Fair – EI 2025

 

We are delighted to have participated in the HTWG Fair in Konstanz yesterday.  🚀
The event was a great success: our booth was visited by numerous motivated bachelor’s, master’s students, and other interested professionals from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology. 👩‍🎓👨‍🎓

We had many constructive and inspiring conversations, and the high level of interest in our projects was truly encouraging. 🤝
Encounters like these show how attractive our industry and topics are for young talents and motivate us to continue on this path.

🎉 Team Spirit and Customer Insights at extrutec Group

 

Last week, the extrutec Group enjoyed an exciting program full of team spirit and inspiring insights!

On Thursday, we spent a relaxed evening at the Hirschen Horn hut, enjoying great food and good company. 🍽️🏔️

Friday was dedicated to exchange and hands-on experience: we visited one of our customers to inspect the machinery on-site and gain valuable insights into their operations. 🏭

The week concluded with an internal tour in Moos, where we explored the new Technikum building as well as the renovated Forum facility, followed by another enjoyable evening with the team. 🏢✨

extrutec group, a global leader in industrial plant systems for the aluminum extrusion industry, announced a significant expansion in the North American market today. Through its subsidiary, extrutec North America, Inc., the company has acquired the assets of Induction Professionals, LLC, a highly respected provider of induction heating and melting equipment. This acquisition will lead to the formation of a new company, Induction Professional Solutions (IPS).

This strategic move strengthens extrutec's global footprint and expands its North American market portfolio. The acquisition combines extrutec's innovative and energy-efficient technology with Induction Professionals' extensive experience and strong regional presence. Induction Professional Solutions (IPS) will be located at the former Induction Professionals facility in Youngstown, Ohio, and will focus on providing advanced induction heating and melting systems. Building on the expertise and customer relationships of Induction Professionals, the new entity will also provide comprehensive service, repair, and upgrade solutions to customers across the region. Induction Professional Solutions (IPS) will operate as the North American counterpart to extrutec's German subsidiary, TCT Induktionstechnik GmbH, leveraging a shared commitment to advanced induction technology and customer support.

The acquisition is a testament to extrutec's commitment to the North American market as well as to continued innovation and growth in the industrial heating sector. By combining the strengths of both companies, Induction Professional Solutions (IPS) is poised to become a dominant force in the North American induction heating technology market.
