The new extrutec year began with visits to extrutec's subsidiary IPS.

Shortly before the end of the year, Induction Professional was acquired by extrutec and will continue to operate under a new name at its previous production site in Youngstown, Ohio. IPS will strengthen extrutec's service activities in the USA and continue to serve its US-wide customer base with repairs and services related to induction technology. During extrutec founder Uwe Günter's New Year visit, the agenda included activities with the IPS team, customer visits, and discussions with the local business association “Lake to River.”
